The Horizon Treo V109 is a vibration plate that lends itself very much for the home user its size, shape, colour and design make it non-intrusive.
Considering the price is very near the low end of the market this machine still has some interesting features to offer. For example you get 4 different programmes to choose from but you also have the option of choosing your own exercises by varying the vibration frequency and intensity.
The machine is super light and has two very convenient rollers attached, making it very easy for almost anybody to 'tilt and wheel' the machine in and out of its place.
The platform is almost round; the handle bar offers hand positions for users of different heights. The operating console is very easy to understand. If I can spot how it all works at a glance then it is definitely easy, and so it is. You can also use the additional Start/Stop button that is positioned towards the lower end of the column if you are doing some work with one / both feet on the floor.
Nice looking machine with some interesting technicalities. What I particularly liked was the fact that you can increase the vibration intensity by 1 to 16 different increments.
The vibration frequency from 20Hz to 45 Hz and the maximum user weight of 100kg / 15.5 stone makes me want to suggest that this particular model is best for the occasional home user at entry level. You will still get a good workout out of it but I believe that the more serious exerciser would find that this model has its limitations.
